Miss APBA 26’ Racer

Famed naval architect and Hacker-Craft founder John L. Hacker wanted to encourage racing by designing a boat that could be built by racing enthusiasts. In the 1923 he offered the design for this boat to the public by publishing it in Motor Boating magazine. Miss APBA is named after the American Power Boat Association, which is the US governing body for power boat racing as authorized by the UIM (Union Internationale Motonautique).
