Hacker-Craft Opens Showroom in South Florida

Gorgeous boats displayed at location just south of Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

February 11, 2013, Silver Bay, NY - The Hacker Boat Company, Inc., builders of the iconic Hacker-Craft brand of all-mahogany boats, has opened a showroom in Dania Beach, Florida, just south of the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, at 313 N. Bryan Road, Dania Beach, FL, 33004, 954-927-0903.

The new showroom has access to the water for sea trials and is conveniently located off I-95 Exit 23/Griffin Road, east of the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA).

The showroom can accommodate up to six boats, including, initially, the first Tommy Bahama Edition Hacker-Craft and a Neiman Marcus Edition Hacker-Craft.

Bob Sheer, Regional Manager, Florida Operations, for the Hacker Boat Company, said “having a showroom in the ‘yachting capital of the world’ will make it easy for potential customers, from individuals to those seeking yacht tenders, to see our gorgeous boats up close.” George Badcock, president and CEO of the Hacker Boat Company, Inc., said “in the past two years we have sold more boats in Florida than in any other single market, so we decided to capitalize on that trend with the hopes of tapping into existing and future demand.”

The Hacker Boat Company, Inc., owned by Erin Investments, LLC, is the largest American manufacturer of classic mahogany motorboats. Each Hacker-Craft is hand crafted by master boat builders who labor over 1400 hours to build every boat. The Company builds runabouts, sport boats, launches, yacht tenders, utilities and custom designed boats. Since the 1930s Hacker-Crafts have been hailed as the “Steinway of Runabouts®” and were named by “Forbes FYI Magazine” as being among "50 of America's Best" products.
